Upon completion of this course you will qualify you to become accredited for practitioners insurance purposes
( 3 Day Course + Examination Day )
Day 1 History of Indian Head Massage.
Unit 1 Practical – Anatomy – Physiology – Massage of the shoulders.
Unit 2 Practical – Massage of the upper shoulders and arms.
Revision of units 1 and 2.
Day 2 Discussion on the benefits and contraindications.
Unit 3 Practical – Massage of the neck
Unit 4 Practical – Massage of the head.
Revision of units 1 – 4.
Day 3 Introduction to the chakra system.
Unit 5 Practical – Massage of the face, ears and chakra balance.
Techniques – The use of Indian Head Massage in industry as a stress reducingtool in industry as a stress reducing tool.
Discussion on exam format.
Final revision of units 1 – 5.
Following these 3 days you are advised to practice 15 – 20 hours before beginning the case studies.
Case studies – You are required to produce 10 case studies of at least 5 treatments each totalling 50 treatments. ( approx. 25 hours)
4th Day – Examination to be set for three months later.
Students to present case studies one week before examination assessment.
On the exam day students to sit a multi-choice questionnaire exam based on the training manual and a practical Indian Head Massage on the examiner.
